Furrizzi are GREEN (ecological) Stools and gadgets made of wooden Fennel, Cane and Willow from Mount & Volcano Etna.
Furrizzu: stool made with pieces of fennel, whose dry and light stem is used to build chairs, stools and crafts objects, from the slopes of Mount Etna.

Various sizes to be used as some small ornaments, gadgets, gift ideas, or rustic furniture. 

The Fennel mushrooms grow in spring and autumn at the bottom or near the Fennel plant and belong to the family of Pleurotaceae. 
My father Alfio use to gather the mushrooms to appreciate their taste in delicious recipes cooked by his wife Maria. 
During the summer, he goes to collect the little trunks of Ferula plant then keep them to become dry and woody to be able to work them, creating objects according to the inspiration. He’s often invited to some exhibitions of handicrafts. 

Ferula Fennel: the stem of this plant when dry during Latin period was used as a whip for corporal punishment of unruly schoolchildren.

Sgabelli "Furrizzi" e oggetti in Legno di Ferula, Canna e Salice dell'Etna, "Ecologico".
Il Furrizzu è uno sgabello fatto con tronchetti di Ferula, il cui fusto secco e leggero viene utilizzato per costruire seggiole, sgabelli e oggetti d'artigianato, dalle pendici del Vulcano Etna.

Varie misure alcuni piccoli da essere usati come soprammobili, gadget, idee regalo, utili ad ogni uso possa venirci in mente, altri di vero arredamento rustico. Il Fungo di Ferula o Ferla cresce alla base o in prossimità della Ferula comune, appartiene alla famiglia delle Pleurotaceae.

In primavera ed autunno, Alfio l'artigiano raccoglie i funghi x apprezzarne il gusto nelle svariate preparazioni in cucina. In estate, va a tagliare i tronchi di Ferula per conservarli in attesa che divengano secchi, asciutti e legnosi per poterli lavorare, creando cosi degli oggetti secondo le ispirazioni, possono esser di utilità in casa o di semplice arredamento.
